SHEIN Distribution Corporation has issued a recall for approximately 310 Teckwe multifunctional hair dryer brushes due to potential safety risks. The recalled brushes, designed for hair styling and straightening, are gray and purple with the “Teckwe” brand name on the handle. Each unit measures approximately 11 inches in length and comes with five interchangeable heads. The products were sold exclusively on SHEIN’s website between July 2024 and October 2024, with prices ranging from $9 to $21.
SHEIN advises customers to immediately discontinue use of the affected products and unplug them. Consumers should render the hair dryer brushes unusable by cutting the cord and following local recycling protocols. After providing photographic evidence of the destroyed device, customers will receive a full refund from SHEIN. Purchasers are being contacted directly by the company to facilitate the recall process.
