Local Sports News 3/26/2023 – The Frederick County Senior Stars finished the game strong to win the 2023 Roundball Classic’s South Mountain Showdown, 90-86, over the Washington County Senior Stars.
St. Maria Goretti senior Tristan Cook led the Washington County squad with 23 points, South Hagerstown‘s Sayvion Mobley had 10 points and eight rebounds and Boonsboro’s Gavin Blair and Eb Manhiya had eight points each.
Goretti’s Jarvis Wright and Williamsport‘s Manny Acquah added six points each. Acquah also added six rebounds in the loss.
