SHARPSBURG, MD News (9/17/2022) – Just in time for their 5th Anniversary, the Sharpsburgh Museum of History has launched its website, accessible at SharpsburghMuseumofHistory.com. The website contains information on activities, artifacts, the museum’s youth program, and more.
The website, designed by Laura Oates Design, features beautiful photos of some of the museum’s artifacts, directions to the museum, and hours of operation.
The museum is located on the second floor of 106 East Main Street in Sharpsburg. Launching the website was one of the last completed goals in the museum’s 5-year plan, with one final goal remaining: obtaining a dedicated building for the museum.
Visitors can explore the museum in-person Monday through Saturday, 9am-4pm.
Tours can also be arranged for Tolson Chapel, a former church and school for the local African-American community which opened in 1868.
For more information or to plan your visit, please visit the museum website.
