The Chicken Blog: PoTRERO GRILL – San Francisco Airport

Welcome to the inaugural edition of The Chicken Blog!

In this new adventure, DJ Warbuckler will review chicken tenders across the country!

Today’s review is PoTRERO GRILL – San Francisco International Airport.

What you get: 4 chicken tenders and a TREMENDOUS amount of fries.

What it costs: $13.95 + tax

Dippers: Ranch, Ketchup, Mustard, Mayo, and a bottle of Huy Fong Chili Sauce hot sauce, which apparently has been filled with Tabasco Sauce (wtf?)

The results: Overall I found the tenders perfectly cooked, not dry and not under cooked. The breading has a smaller grain texture, and a unique flavor compared to what I’m used to.

The fries are standard shoestring fries, no different than McDonald’s but maybe slightly less greasy.

Overall I was pleased with the meal, but slightly disappointed in the lack of available dippers. Especially teasing me with Huy Fong Chili Sauce and replacing it with Tabasco. But for airport food, I’d say this was pretty good, and only slightly overpriced.

Verdict: Recommend!
