A Wheeling, West Virginia, man has been sentenced to 135 months in federal prison for a methamphetamine offense, stemming from an investigation that began with reports of shots fired. The sentencing of Roland N. Copney, 37, was announced by U.S. Attorney Matthew L. Harvey. The investigation into Copney commenced in March 2024, when authorities responded to reports of shots fired on Wheeling Island.
