The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission has announced a recall of approximately 6,100 Adams RealComfort and StyleWell Adirondack patio chairs due to a significant safety concern. According to the commission, the resin chairs, sold in a variety of colors including blue, dark gray, navy blue, taupe, light blue, lime green, and teal, are prone to cracking and collapsing. This defect poses a substantial risk of injury and falls for consumers.

The chairs in question are identifiable by the model number “ML837-15” and a manufacture date of August 2025, which are molded into the underside of the product. The manufacture date is indicated by a dot on a grid, located at the intersection of column “A” and row “25”. These Adirondack-style chairs were available for purchase at Lowe’s and The Home Depot stores across the country. They were sold between August 2025 and October 2025 with a retail price of approximately $25. Adams Manufacturing Corp., based in Portersville, Pennsylvania, is the manufacturer of these recalled chairs.
Consumers who have purchased these chairs are strongly advised to cease using them immediately. To address the hazard, a full refund is being offered. Customers can obtain this refund by returning the recalled chairs to any Lowe’s or Home Depot store. For further assistance or to obtain more information regarding this recall, consumers can contact Adams Manufacturing directly. They can be reached toll-free at 866-546-1806, available from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Eastern Time, Monday through Friday. Alternatively, consumers can send an email to recalls@adamsmfg.com or visit the company’s website at http://www.adamsmfg.com/recalls. The website also provides a dedicated “Safety Recall” section at the top of the page for detailed information. While no incidents or injuries have been reported in connection with this recall, the potential for harm necessitates immediate action from consumers.
