The hospitalization followed an evaluation that determined Senator Fetterman had a flare-up of ventricular fibrillation, a condition that caused him to feel light-headed. This light-headedness led to his fall, during which he sustained minor facial injuries. The Senator is reportedly doing well and is currently under routine observation at the hospital. He has chosen to remain at the facility to allow medical professionals to adjust his medication regimen. The Senator expressed gratitude for the care being provided by the emergency medical technicians, doctors, and nurses.
