Philip is currently being detained at the Baltimore County Detention Center with no bond set. Miles is being held in Minnesota and is awaiting extradition to Maryland to face the charges. The investigation originated in September 2025 when investigators from the Maryland State Police Child Recovery Unit, in collaboration with the Baltimore County Police Department Vice/Narcotics Unit and the FBI, were engaged in a proactive human trafficking enforcement initiative. During this operation, law enforcement officials observed an online advertisement that appeared to be offering a young female for sexual acts.
Investigators were subsequently able to locate and recover the individual at a hotel in Towson, Maryland. She was identified as a critically missing juvenile. The investigation continued, leading to the arrest of Philip on November 4, 2025. Maryland State Police and the US Marshals Service apprehended Philip without incident at a residence in Hanover, Pennsylvania. During the arrest, authorities discovered another missing juvenile female, who is believed to be a victim of sex trafficking.
Two days later, on November 6, 2025, investigators located Miles at an airport in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He was taken into police custody and arrested without incident. Law enforcement officials believe that Philip and Miles may have been involved in trafficking additional women. The Maryland State Police are urging any other potential victims to come forward and contact investigators at 410-694-4700. All calls can be kept confidential. The investigation remains ongoing.
