In a ceremony held at the Vickers Theater in Three Oaks, Michigan, the U.S. Postal Service introduced its latest U.S. Flag Forever stamp. The event marked the release of a new design celebrating the enduring symbol of the nation’s unity and patriotic spirit, featuring the American flag set against a bright white background.

The new stamp design showcases Old Glory fluttering in the breeze, with “UNITED STATES OF AMERICA” inscribed in blue type above a horizontal red stripe. “FOREVER/USA” appears at the bottom in gray. Antonio Alcalá, a USPS art director, led the design process, using a photograph by Doug Haight. The stamp highlights the flag’s 13 red and white stripes symbolizing the original colonies and 50 stars representing the states.

As Forever stamps, the newly issued U.S. Flag stamps will maintain their value equal to the First-Class Mail 1-ounce rate regardless of future price changes. They are available in booklets and panes of 20 stamps and coils of 100, 3,000, and 10,000 stamps. Postal officials noted that the release is part of the Postal Service’s ongoing effort to celebrate national symbols through its stamp program.
