The Headquarters and Headquarters Detachment (HHD) oversees the administrative management and accountability of approximately 300 personnel, including Soldiers, civilians, and contractors. As part of its mission, the detachment plays a vital role in implementing unit policies, promoting Soldier welfare, and fostering leadership development across the agency. USAMMA itself is one of three direct reporting units to the Army Medical Logistics Command (AMLC), which oversees the full life cycle of Army medical materiel.
Capt. Paul Abucher, the HHD commander, presided over the ceremony, during which the symbolic passing of the unit colors reflected the official transition of responsibilities. He acknowledged Doll’s contributions to the organization and highlighted the impact of his leadership throughout his tenure.
