The recall, announced March 20, 2025, affects approximately 12,300 units of Model 90195 (Bella Pro Series) and Model 22395 (Cooks). These machines are black with stainless steel accents, measuring roughly six inches wide and 12 inches tall. The affected models were sold at JCPenney stores nationwide and online through BestBuy.com and JCPenney.com from August 2023 to January 2025, priced between $40 and $60.

The issue stems from the machines’ brew cup handles, which can forcefully eject during operation, shattering the glass carafe. This malfunction has led to 18 reported incidents, including eight cases of users sustaining burns or lacerations. In response, Sensio advises all consumers to stop using the machines immediately.
