On February 24, 2025, around 12:01 AM, officers responded to a report of criminal mischief in the 300 block of W King Street. A silver Hyundai Elantra stopped in the roadway, and a male passenger exited the vehicle, attempting to enter a parked car. Tool marks were discovered on the ignition, indicating a possible theft attempt. The suspects fled northbound on N Franklin Street when confronted by the vehicle’s owner. Authorities have released images of a person of interest and the suspect vehicle, urging anyone with information to come forward.

They were seen departing in a red Kia Borrego. The police have released a photo of a person of interest related to this case and are seeking public assistance in identifying the individuals involved.
