Jazwares advises consumers to stop using the microphones immediately and contact the company for a full refund, which will be provided via a prepaid gift card. Consumers should properly dispose of the recalled products according to local and state regulations and avoid discarding them in regular trash or battery recycling bins. Customers can reach Jazwares through its recall website or by phone for further instructions.
The recalled microphones were manufactured in China and imported by Jazwares, based in Sunrise, Florida. Only a small number—about six units—were sold in Canada. The recall is being conducted in cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission.
