Despite the cyberattack, Frederick Health has assured patients that facilities remain open, and care is being provided through backup processes and downtime procedures. The hospital is collaborating with emergency medical services (EMS) to manage patient flow, but temporary re-routing measures continue to be necessary. Patients with scheduled medical appointments are encouraged to attend as planned, though minor disruptions may occur.
Frederick Health has also issued updates regarding specific services. The Frederick Health Village Laboratory remains temporarily closed, while all other laboratory locations remain open. Patients are advised to bring medical history records, allergy information, and current medications to appointments to assist healthcare providers in the absence of full electronic access.

The hospital continues working with third-party cybersecurity experts to restore systems safely while prioritizing patient care. No timeline has been provided for full restoration of services, and patients are urged to prepare for potential delays. Anyone experiencing a medical emergency is advised to call 911 or visit the nearest emergency department.
