One of the vehicles, a Jeep Cherokee, was later located in Heuser Park, where officers conducted a high-risk traffic stop and took two male suspects into custody. Evidence found inside the Jeep linked them to several thefts that had occurred overnight in various neighborhoods. The second vehicle, a Jeep Wrangler, continued to flee and was later determined to have been stolen from a resident of the Park Square Apartments. It was later found unoccupied on Stenwyck Circle.
As police recovered the Jeep Wrangler, they received reports of another stolen vehicle—a Honda Pilot—taken from W. Beidler Road. Investigators believe the suspects abandoned the Wrangler before stealing the Honda Pilot to escape the area. Authorities continue efforts to identify any additional suspects involved in these incidents.
