UPDATED: Not Sure Who to Vote For? Here’s a Side-by-side Comparison of Published Platforms of 2024 Presidential Candidates

Election day is two months away, and it’s quickly becoming time to make your choice who you believe would be the best choice to lead the United States for the next four years. We know there’s a lot of confusing and contradictory information out there, so Radio Free Hub City has assembled a side-by-side comparison of four candidates, based upon their official platform on their campaign websites.

This article has been updated on September 10, 2024 with Kamala Harris’ platform.

In addition to the Republican and Democrat candidates for President in 2024, there are also numerous independent and third party candidates. The most popular third parties are the Libertarian and Green parties, and as such we’ve included them in our comparison.

Not all candidates touch on every issue on their campaign website, so any item which isn’t published on their campaign site, we’ll leave blank.

Unity	Unite our country by bringing it to new and record levels of success
Healthcare		Strengthen and bring down the cost of health care. Make health care affordable for all, expand ACA, and cap drug costs. Implement National Improved Medicare for All, cancel medical debt, and take the pharmaceutical industry into public ownership.

Privacy			Dismantle invasive government surveillance programs and restore individual privacy rights.

Climate and Energy		Lower energy costs and tackle the climate crisis through the Inflation Reduction Act and clean energy jobs.		Declare a climate emergency, achieve climate justice, invest in renewable energy infrastructure, ban fossil fuels.
Agriculture and Food Systems				Dismantle corporate agribusiness, support regenerative organic agriculture, ensure food sovereignty, and protect public lands.
Foreign Policy & Demilitarization		Stand with our allies, stand up to dictators, and lead on the world stage.		Establish a foreign policy based on diplomacy, human rights, and international law. Cut military spending by 50-75% and end US involvement in wars.
