Sheriff Jenkins files motion to sever trial from Robert Krop, alleges signed similar letters for other firearm dealers

FREDERICK, MD News (6/1/2023) – In a high-profile fraud case currently underway in the United States District Court for the District of Maryland, defendant Charles Austin Jenkins has filed a motion to sever his trial from that of co-defendant Robert Krop. Suspects in murder of 15 year old were in country illegally, ties to MS13 gang

FREDERICK, MD News (6/1/2023) – Following the arrest of five suspects in the murder of a 15 year old boy in Frederick, Designated Immigration Officers (DIO) within the Frederick County Sheriff’s Office 287(g) Program placed an Immigration Detainer-Notice of Action, form I-247A, on all five noncitizens illegally present in the United States. ICE lodges detainers on individuals arrested on criminal charges who ICE has probable cause to believe are removable noncitizens.

FPD Charges 5 Suspects in Death of Missing 15-Year-Old

FREDERICK, MD News (5/31/2023) – On February 25, 2023, family members of 15-year-old Limber Lopez Funez contacted the Frederick Police Department to report him as missing. The teenager was entered as a missing person and detectives with the Major Crimes Unit were assigned to locate Lopez Funez that same day.
