Two models of infant walkers sold online are being flagged as serious safety hazards by the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), which is urging parents and caregivers to immediately stop using them due to risks of entrapment and potentially fatal falls. Consumers who own either the Qizhi-Bear or NVW infant walkers should dispose of the products and not attempt to resell or donate them.

The Qizhi-Bear Infant Walkers, sold on Amazon between September 2023 and March 2025, and the NVW Infant Walkers, available from May 2024 to April 2025, fail to meet federal safety standards. Both products are capable of fitting through standard doorways and do not stop at the edge of stairs—design flaws that can lead to dangerous falls. Additionally, the leg openings in both models can allow infants to slip and become trapped by the neck, posing a risk of strangulation or death.

Roughly 1,600 Qizhi-Bear and 1,825 NVW walkers were sold, priced between $70 and $165. Despite these issues, neither Amazon seller—Qingdaohuanzhuyougudianzishangwuyouxiangongsi (doing business as Huanzhuyougu) for Qizhi-Bear, nor Qingbaijiangenkeoubaihuojingyingbu (doing business as NVW US) for NVW—has issued a recall or offered a remedy.

Both products were manufactured in China and featured collapsible or foldable designs, adjustable height settings, and toy trays. Specific identifying information can be found on labels under the seat—“Model No: QZ01” for Qizhi-Bear and “Model No: RV001” for NVW. CPSC warns that these products should not be sold, donated, or reused under any circumstances and encourages individuals to report any injuries or defects to www.SaferProducts.gov.
